Who is Not a Running Club aimed at?

N.A.R.C. has been created for women who want to get into running but are unsure where to start. We cater specifically to beginner level runners (for example those who are working up to running 5K), BUT we do allow mixed abilities to attend.

How far do I have to be able to run to join in?

As we cater to beginners, we focus on running for TIME instead of distance. This may be in the form of continuous running, or a mixture of running and walking depending on what feels right for you. Sessions are 45 minutes and include a warm up, cool down, and around 35 minutes of movement.

What if I'm a slower runner?

There is no such thing as being too slow in this group! As we cater to beginners, we keep the overall pace fairly gentle, but we also have a 'nobody left behind' policy. This means that no matter your pace, you will never be left at the back on your own.

Where does the club take place?

We meet at various locations in Bournemouth, including the beach, the river Stour, and Kings Park. Session location is confirmed in the private members group chat the day before, upon signing up for a session you'll be added to the group chat so you can stay in the loop.
